FAQ

Are you the cheapest company?

We focus on being the company you can count on.

Our pricing reflects the standard of work we deliver: professional crews, reliable scheduling, clear communication, and a finished product we’re proud to put our name on. We show up, we do the work right, and we stand behind it.

We already have a cleaning company. Why would we use you?

If your current cleaning company stays on schedule and their work holds up on the walk, keep them. But if they are always behind schedule, your punch list looks more like a to do list, and their job is becoming your job, call us.

Can you actually hit turnover dates?

We plan around the project. The hours, manpower, and crew needed to complete your job are handled as soon as you tell us we are in.

How fast can your crew get on site?

As fast as you need us. Our GCs choose us not only because of the quality of our work, but because of how quickly we can mobilize when a project needs us.

Do you work nights and weekends?

Listen, everybody in the blue collar industry knows the schedule is never as simple as it looks. Neither is ours. If your deadline is coming up and the project needs us, we make the accommodations necessary to get it across the finish line.

Can you clean while other trades are still working?

Absolutely. Everyone has a job to do, and ours is making sure the site is clean enough for you to clearly see the imperfections that still need attention. We work around active trades, coordinate with the jobsite, and keep our work moving efficiently without getting in the way of yours.

Who is our point of contact on site?

Every project comes with a dedicated Project Manager in a red shirt who knows the scope from top to bottom. We also have a Field Operations Expert moving from site to site, making sure crews are on track, timelines are being met, and the project is moving the way it should.

Do you travel for jobs?

We cover the entire state of Florida. If an out of state project is necessary, we can also accommodate select premium partners.

What happens if your crew misses something?

On the rare occasion our crew misses something, we fix it. No games. No hesitation. No runaround.

How do you handle large projects?

Our systems are built so large projects do not burn our crews out. We structure manpower, rotations, and workflow so the job is completed to our standard while our workers are taken care of physically. Exhausted workers make mistakes. We do not build projects that way.

A project is not finished until we touch it.

We’re building a team of people who want more than somewhere to clock in. If that’s you, apply today.

Commission only  •  Performance driven  •  High upside

Don’t just apply. Make your pitch.

This isn’t a clock-in, clock-out sales position. What you earn is directly connected to what you produce.

We’re not looking for someone who can fill out an application. We’re looking for someone who can create opportunities.

Think you can help us grow? Show us.

First, tell us about you.

Your video answers all of this.

Send us the video.

Recorded on your phone is fine — upload it straight from your camera roll.

MP4 or MOV, up to 300 MB. On a phone, tap and pick it from your camera roll. Big files take a minute — leave this page open until it finishes.
Unlisted YouTube, Google Drive set to “anyone with the link”, Loom or Dropbox. Make sure it opens without a login.

One of the two is required. Everything else about you, we will get from the video.

We got it.

Your application is in. Watch your phone and your email — a call comes first, and an email if we don’t reach you. If you don’t hear back within a week and you still want the seat, call the office at (407) 900-5696.

Crew member

Start here. Grow from here.

Our field team is the foundation of The Johnson Trade. This takes about three minutes.

  1. 01Cleaner
  2. 02Team Lead
  3. 03Project Management
  4. 04Operations

First, who are you?

Street, city, state, ZIP.

Two quick ones.

Do you have reliable transportation?
Are you OK working longer days when projects require it?

Before you go further.

This is a labor-demanding job. It requires you to be consistent and detailed — being able to execute a task is what we are looking for.

There is opportunity for growth. If that is what you are looking for, then we welcome you.

Our only expectation is that you take pride in the work you do. No job is too small or too big. We do our part and keep it moving.

Where are you trying to go?

Would you eventually be interested in becoming a Team Lead or taking on a leadership position? There is no wrong answer. We want to understand what you’re looking for.

Can the crew count on you?

Do you have experience doing this kind of work?Construction cleaning, janitorial, warehouse, landscaping — any hands-on work counts.
Are you someone the team can rely on during the shift?

Where could you go?

You already know that growth at The Johnson Trade starts on Day One. Now we want to know where you could take it.

You may be applying for the field team today, but you might have skills, interests, or ambitions that could make you an asset somewhere else within The Johnson Trade in the future.

It could be leadership, project management, operations, estimating, sales, marketing, content, administration — or something completely different. Tell us what you’re interested in and why.

Last question. Why should we put you on one of our crews?

Tell us what kind of worker we’re getting if we hire you.

What happens next.

Once you submit, watch your email and your phone.

A phone call comes first. If we don’t reach you, you’ll get an email instead — so check it, and check your spam folder.

Answer the phone. That is the first thing we learn about you.

One more thing.

If you are selected, you are required to follow the steps in the email to log into the company app.

That is where your schedule, your job sites and your crew live. You start there on day one.

We got it.

Your application is in. Watch your phone and your email — a call comes first, and an email if we don’t reach you. If you don’t hear back within a week and you still want the seat, call the office at (407) 900-5696.

Office

Help build what’s behind the projects.

Behind every project is scheduling, communication, organization, problem-solving, and people making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

If you’re organized, resourceful, comfortable with technology, and constantly looking for a better way to do things — we want to meet you.

Start with the basics.

Send us your résumé.

PDF or Word, under 10 MB.

Tell us about your last 3 positions.

For each, include: company • position • how long you worked there • your main responsibilities • why you left.

What systems or software are you comfortable using?

For example: CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace.

What would you measure?

This seat owns the numbers. Not just filing them — knowing which ones matter and chasing the ones that slip.

Be specific, and say what each one tells you. Think jobs, crews, money owed, people, and how fast we answer a customer.
Spreadsheet, CRM, dashboard, whiteboard — whatever it really was. Tell us whether you built it or inherited it.

Say this is yours to own.

You walk in and there is no tracker, no weekly report, nothing written down. Nobody is going to hand you a system.

Week by week is fine. We are looking at how you prioritize, not how much you can promise.
The thing we are really hiring for is not having to chase you.

We got it.

Your application is in. Watch your phone and your email — a call comes first, and an email if we don’t reach you. If you don’t hear back within a week and you still want the seat, call the office at (407) 900-5696.

We don’t quote a job we haven’t walked.

Every number we give comes after our PM walks the site with you — the scope, the phases, the turnover date and what the finish actually has to look like. That is the only way the price is real and the schedule holds. Leave your details and we will call you to set it up.

Construction Cleaning

Multi-family, warehouses, grocery and big ground-up work. We hold the site through the build, then take it through rough, final and the punch walk.

Our Process

  1. Rough clean

The deepest clean of the job. Most companies run a quick pass just to call it done. We put our final-clean standard on the rough, so you can see every imperfection and every change you want to make before turnover.

  2. Final clean

Where we perfect it. Fixtures, floors, glass in and out, every surface detailed for the owner walk.

  3. Touch-up & punch

We stay on it through the walk, closing items out as they come up instead of handing you a list.

If your punch list looks like a to-do list, it's time to bring in the professionals.

Add-ons

Before and after

Before
After

Unit kitchen on a multi-family job: trade debris and dust, then the same kitchen at final clean.

How we price

Our price is our price.

We don’t bid low just to make it up later. The lowest number on bid day is rarely the lowest number at turnover.

  1. Give you a realistic number upfront
  2. Execute the work to the standard we quoted
  3. Get the project turned over, owner-ready

One scope. A realistic budget. An Owner-Ready Turnover.

What a cheap bid costs you

  • Change ordersevery complication becomes another invoice
  • Missed areasfound on the owner walk, not before it
  • Re-cleansyour schedule pays for them, twice
  • A second contractorbrought in to finish what the first one bid

FAQ

When should we bring you in?

As early as progress cleans. Sites that start us at rough are half finished before final even begins.

Do you clean while other trades are working?

Yes. We work around active trades and keep the site clean enough that you can see what still needs attention.

Can you hit our turnover date?

Give us the date on the walk and we plan crews backward from it. If it is tight we tell you up front.

Do you handle the punch walk?

We stay through it. Touch-up is part of the job, not an extra trip.

What size jobs do you take?

From single suites to multi-building sites. We structure manpower and rotations so large jobs do not burn crews out.

Window Cleaning

New-construction glass comes to us covered. We take it back to clear, without leaving a mark.

Material we find on the glass

Paint oversprayDrywall mud & dustCaulk & siliconeStickers & labelsTape residueConcrete & stucco splatterHard water stainsFabrication debris

Window process

  1. Inspect the glass first

Tempered and coated glass get checked before any blade touches them. A few minutes here saves a window.

  2. Soft before sharp

Solvents and pads lift whatever they can, so the blade only handles what is left.

  3. Fresh blade, wet glass, one direction

Never a dry scrape, never a dull edge.

  4. Frames, sills and tracks

The glass is only half of it. We detail the frames and pull the debris out of the tracks.

  5. Right access for height

Lifts and harnesses, so nobody leans on frames or sills to reach the top row.

FAQ

Will a blade scratch the glass?

Not the way we do it. Inspection first, solvents and pads before any blade, fresh blades on wet glass in one direction.

What about tempered glass?

Tempered and coated glass are checked against the manufacturer guidance first, because fabricating debris can scratch even with correct technique.

Do you do high glass?

Yes, with lifts and harnesses where height calls for it.

Do you clean the frames and tracks too?

Yes. Frames, sills and tracks are part of the job, not an add-on.

Can you come back after other trades finish?

Yes. On most jobs the glass gets a final pass once the last trade is out.

Power Washing

Jobsite buildup and years of grime, gone. No etching, no streaking, no blasting what is underneath.

Surfaces we wash

Concrete & sidewalksBrick & blockSiding & stuccoParking decksDumpster padsStorefront entries

Wash process

  1. Test a spot

Every surface gets checked before we open up, so nothing gets etched or stripped.

  2. Match pressure, tip and chemistry to the surface

Not the loudest setting. The right one for concrete, brick, stucco or siding.

  3. Protect what stays

Landscaping, fixtures and entries covered or rinsed as we go.

  4. Wash and rinse clean

Surfaces worked evenly so you do not end up with clean stripes and dirty ones.

  5. Leave it walk-ready

Runoff handled, surfaces rinsed, the area ready to use.

Before and after

BeforeAfter

Service walkway on a retail build: construction dust and debris, then the same concrete washed. Drag the handle.

FAQ

Will pressure damage our concrete or stucco?

Not when pressure, tip and chemistry are matched to the surface. We test a spot before we open up.

Do you handle runoff?

Yes. We plan where water goes before we start and protect landscaping and entries.

Can you work after hours?

When the schedule calls for it, yes, so we are not washing while customers or trades are walking through.

Do you do parking decks and dumpster pads?

Yes, along with sidewalks, entries, brick, block and siding.

How often should a property be washed?

Depends on traffic and exposure. Tell us the property and we will give you a straight answer on a schedule.

Site Cleanup & Haul-Off

Debris out, dumpsters cleared, site swept. We take away what the trades leave behind so the next crew can work.

What we handle

Construction debrisPackaging & palletsDrywall & offcutsOld fixturesAppliancesJunk removal

How it works

  1. Scope the load

We look at what is there, what access looks like and where the trucks can sit.

  2. Clear on your schedule

One clean-out or ongoing hauls through the build, whatever keeps the site moving.

  3. Sort as we load

Loads separated so material goes to the right place instead of filling your dumpster.

  4. Haul it off

Off the site and disposed of properly.

  5. Broom-clean finish

We do not just take the pile. The space is left ready to work in.

Before and after

BeforeAfter

Grocery build: trade debris, packaging and offcuts through the aisle, then the same aisle cleared and swept. Drag the handle.

FAQ

Do you work with our dumpster or bring your own?

Either. Tell us what is on site and we will work with it or bring the capacity.

Can you do one clean-out instead of ongoing service?

Yes. One load or a standing schedule through the build.

Do you take appliances and old fixtures?

Yes, along with construction debris, packaging, pallets and general junk removal.

How fast can you get there?

Call us with the site and the date and we will tell you on the call.

Do you sweep after the haul?

Yes. Broom-clean is part of it.
